St. Clair Software has released HistoryHound 1.0, which searches through your history and bookmarks in Safari and returns matches ranked by relevance. It uses the "V-Twin" fast-search technology found in Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" to return matches and includes a built-in browser that renders search results in a window when you click on them. You can perform simple searches, as well as sophisticated Boolean or include/exclude searches, and a hot key summons the search window when you need it. Pricing is US$19.95. HistoryHound requires Mac OS X v.10.3 "Panther" or higher. It currently supports Safari, but St. Clair notes that "other browsers will be added in future releases." [More]
